Now that Karisma Kapoor is all set to make a comeback in her upcoming flick Dangerous Ishq, the actress is busy with her Bollywood duties, attending events, film promotions, etc etc.

Lolo was recently at an event to announce the SpongeBob Squarepants McDonald’s Happy Meal. In reply to her sister Kareena’s comment about Raj Kapoor being partial towards her, Karishma said, “I think she meant it a nice way! But I guess I was the first grandchild and then I had my grandfather’s eyes…and then there was a bit of a gap and then Kareena, Ranbir, Riddhima happened in quick succession so I was the special one for a while.”

Also at Sachin Tendulkar’s 100th 100 celebration, Karisma said, she would want to gift Salman Khan with almonds. Okay, Karishma is the brand ambassador for California almonds. When she was asked by the media if she ever sent almonds to Sallu (Salman’s tweet, somedays back, — ‘Pass word bhool gaya tha , badam khaya toh yaad ah gaya’), Karisma replied: “Ok, I will send him California almonds.”

Now this is going to be a bad news for the Dabangg fans.. If buss is to be believed, the antagonist of Dabangg, Sonu Sood has reportedly opted out of the film’s sequel.

The main reason for him to take such a decision is the entry of Prakash Raj into the films sequel. Prakash Raj plays a villian in Salman Khan’s return as Chulbul Pandey.

This hasn’t gone down well with Sonu. Having earned huge appreciation for his awesome prformance as Chhedi Singh in the 2010 blockbuster, Sonu doesn’t want to jeopardise his image by playing Prakash’s sidekick.

Sonakshi Sinha, who is a said to be a fan of Ranveer Singh, is teaming up with the actor in Udaan fame director Vikramaditya Motwane’s quirky unconventional love story.

The film will be collectively produced by Motwane, his mentor Anurag Kashyap, “Ghajini” producer Madhu Mantena and former UTV executive Vikas Behl who are coming together under the Phantom banner.

Phantom has pulled off a casting coup by getting the over-committed Sonakshi together with the under-committed Ranveer for a quirky unconventional love story.

When contacted, Mantena confirmed the casting of Ranveer and Sonakshi for Motwane’s film.

Sonakshi has the most clogged date diary. According to a source, she has not a single date to spare until the end of 2012. And yet, Sonakshi was so keen to work with Ranveer that she made an all-out effort to accommodate Motwane’s film.

According to a very source, Sonakshi is committed to shooting for new films from now till the end of 2012. In fact, so clogged was her date diary that Sonakshi almost opted out of the Ajay Devgn starrer “Son Of Sardar”.

“Sonakshi just couldn’t seem to fit all of it in. She was on the verge of opting out of ‘Son Of Sardar’. But somehow managed to squeeze it in. After Sonakshi completes ‘Joker’ with Akshay Kumar, she goes straight into Sajid Nadiadwala’s film with Shahid Kapoor, followed by ‘Son Of Sadar’, ‘Dabangg 2′ and Sajid Naidawala’s ‘Kick’,” said the source.

Sonakshi made a frantic effort to accommodate Motwane’s film.

Shahrukh Khan, whose romantic sagas on silver screen made him a superstar, tried something different with his superhero sci-fi thriller “Ra.One. But King Khan says he has once again ended up making a love story.

The mega-budget film is releasing Wednesday on Diwali.

“Watching the first copy of Ra.One…Damn! realised yet again I have made a love story…a love story between me and my dreams,” the 45-year-old posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Shahrukh is trying to reach out to the maximum number of people by aggressively promoting the superhero film in two and three-tier cities, apart from the metros.

Talking about his upcoming film Don 2, SRK says, “Our intention of doing Don was to pay tribute to Amitabh ji.” He also specifies on the fact that there can be no other Don greater than Amitabh Bachchan.
“I hope Amit ji likes Don 2. I am blessed to be born in the period of Amit ji. I want to experience all his great works. I am a huge fan of his masterpieces such as Don, Sholay and Namak Halaal,” He added.

On the other hand, Arbaaz Khan has announced on Twitter that he plans on releasing Dabangg 2 on da same date, i.e. Dec 21, 2012. “Dabangg 2 starts March 2012 and releases on 21 Dec 2012 !!!” Arbaaz tweeted. He will himself direct the movie. However, if buss is to be believed, Dhoom 3 is likely to get postponed to 2013 as there would be a lot of post production work to do. Okay, so if Dhoom 3 and Dabangg 2 releases on the same day, which flick would you watch???

The release of Shah Rukh Khan’s dream project RA.One is just ten days away yet the final touches to the film is not yet over. And because of this, SRK is very very stressed out. These days, SRK is seen losing his cool quite easily and quickly.

Informs a source, “The entire team of Ra.One is under a lot of pressure to complete the film. There are some minor fixes like colour correction left to be done. The film is set for a worldwide release on October 26, so they have to be really fast. Shah Rukh has been keeping a tab on all the post production activities and was very upset to know about this delay.”

“Shah Rukh went to the post production and was angry with the team for not meeting the deadline. Anubhav Sinha, who was already in the studio had to face SRK’s anger. Later, SRK also motivated them to finish work at the earliest,” added the source.

“The film has been given a provisional certificate by the censor board.

The team had to see the film in green background (croma) as the postproduction was not over. They still have to see the final copy as the certificate also needs a mention about the length of the film,” informed the source.

When contacted, Anubhav Sinha said, “Yes, there are a lot of things happening in the postproduction activities. We all are working hard towards it. But everything is fine.”

Shahrukh is now set to join the mother of all social networking sites, Facebook.
